Lucid Man by Gil Gray

Lucid Man (Urban Fantasy & Occult Book 1)Lucid Man by Gil Gray
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The world of dreams! With unfathomable rules! What's not to like? I cannot do this justice, other than to say it was an excellent read, with proper surprises and hugely imaginative too. Scary too at times. If you're willing to suspend belief, grab a copy. Excellent indeed.

Quite a surprise this was! A twist to the usual tale of kidnap and capture in the world of crime and romance. I do wonder what comes next! A winner, and yes I'll be reading on ...

So, it's the final book, and I dragged it out a bit ... because I didn't want it to end. Brilliant series, each tale filled with imagination, and this one was no different. I will be reading this series again, and I'll certainly be reading more from this author. Well done!

I read this later 2017, but due to circumstances wasn't able to review. It remained on my to-do list, however, because I felt it deserved a review, a glowing one. I absolutely lapped this story up, and will read it again (remains on my kindle, not archived). In fact, this captured my attention so completely I bought the next book immediately. The author has a stunning imagination! I raced through the pages, and couldn't wait for quiet time in order to go on reading. Excellent indeed.

Imaginative apocalyptic story, with some real twists in the usual 'survival' part of such a tale. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Review: Excalibur Rising by Eileen Hodgetts

Excalibur Rising: Book OneExcalibur Rising: Book One by Eileen Hodgetts
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A washed out TV relic hunter becomes embroiled in murder, and all points to the existence of Excalibur. Perhaps King Arthur is real? I’m a fan of Arthurian tales, and nabbed this when it became available as a freebie … and ended up utterly transfixed! Lapped it up, and at the end went ahead and grabbed book 2! Brilliant, with a whole other spin on the legend of Arthur and his mighty sword. A must read!
